Adrianna Jaskanis is a researcher at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw. She specializes in knowledge management and project management, especially in the context of technology-based firms. Her Ph. D. research project concerned learning factors in small and medium technology enterprises in Poland. She is an author of several publications: book chapters, articles and conference papers. Ms. Jaskanis has participated in research projects commissioned by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Polish Patent Office; Ministry of Environment; and in the project “Corporate Social Responsibility. Employee Perspective” co-financed by the European Union. Ms. Jaskanis holds courses on “Principles of Management” at the Faculty of Management, and also works as a trainer at the Open University of University of Warsaw. Moreover, Ms. Jaskanis is a licensed trainer (license issued by the Foundation for Social and Economic Initiatives) of the Parachute programme for job-hunters and career changers by R. Bolles. Since 2010 she has conducted over 600 hours of Parachute trainings and is placed every year on the “List of recommended Parachute trainers by Foundation for Social and Economic Initiatives”. Since November 2013 Ms. Jaskanis works for Polish Institute of Diplomacy in the field of education and trainings for the employees of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in 2014 she started working at consulting company PwC. Adrianna Jaskanis holds MA in European Studies from University of Warsaw and MA in Business management from Warsaw School of Economics. Within the frames of mobility programmes, she has also studied at the Université Montpellier III – Paul Valéry in France and Université Laval in Quebec City, Canada. Ms. Jaskanis has very good command of foreign languages: English and French and has a great passion for learning foreign languages, recently Chinese (Mandarin).
