Karolina Strzyżewska, Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw. She graduated from Warsaw School of Economics (M.A. in management) and University of Warsaw (M.A. in psychology). Her research interests include: NIMBY (not-in-my-backyard) syndrome, change and innovation management, entrepreneurship, sustainable development and environmental psychology. As a GFPS scholarship holder, she spent half a year in Berlin conducting research on Polish entrepreneurs in Germany. Her foreign studies continued in Spain, where she spent a year at the University of Valencia, at the same time working for a consulting company Waribo Consultores. Currently she works for a real estate company Metrohouse S.A., specializing in commercial properties. She also teaches courses on „Principles of management” at the Faculty of Management.
