In 2011, Krzysztof Klincewicz was nominated for a 3-years term of office as a delegate of European Union countries to the Technology Executive Committee, a United Nations body working under the UNFCCC (United Nations Convention for Climate Change). The TEC is an executive expert body, shaping the international policies in the area of development and transfer of climate technologies. The TEC works through regular sessions, open to observers and webcasted on the Internet, and by inter-sessional collaboration of the TEC members, including through various specialist taskforces. The Committee consists of representatives of various geographical areas and groups of countries, nominated by their constituencies.
