University of Warsaw – leading in EU-funded projects

University of Warsaw was recognized by the European Commission as the top, most successful applicant to the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (7FP), the main trans-national R&D funding programme of the European Union. As of November 2013, Polish research teams secured altogether over 408m EUR from 7FP, and these activities place the Polish applicants on the 14th position in the EU. University of Warsaw participated in the larger number of 7FP projects than any other scientific or business organization in Poland. TiMO is also involved in a research project, funded from 7FP: project MUNROS, analyzing health care systems in European countries.
